I had every intention of wrapping up my latest series of posts with the hope we have found through it all. I felt it fitting that I would finish sharing all that I have experienced through the miscarriage on Thanksgiving, a holiday we have in America (more to come on that) where we can say thanks to God for all that He has given us.

Unfortunately, this has been the state of my kitchen this week.

It stresses me out only a little but I'm just gonna go with it. Yummy things are happening in there so it's all good.

Given that sight, however, you can imagine that between volunteering, baking, cooking, preparing for two (yes two!) Thanksgivings, life is a little hectic this week hence the post did not get written.

Okay, I may also be taking a little time to meet the girls at the Christmas market today which is totally for fun, but hey, I think it's important, even amidst the business to take time to be in the company of good friends.

Setting up the Weinachtspyramide last week
It's also important to take as many opportunities as possible to savor the warmth of Gl├╝hwein, to take in all the amazing food, to experience the charm of each little stand, and most of all, to simply just enjoy the magic of the German Christmas markets.

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year over here. But more to come on that, and all the other things I have mentioned in today's excuse of a post later.

Happy whatever day it is for you, may it be one full of messy kitchens, good food, great company, and most of all much thanksgiving!

Oh, how I miss the "Weihnachtsmarkt"...and the Gluehwein :)...somehow Christmas in Fl just never feels quite the same. I hope, you enjoyed your time out.

@Susi Susi, coming from Arizona, I know how you feel! Christmas day in shorts and a tshirt just doesn't have the same magical feeling as being all bundled up, drinking something hot, watching the snow fall. Hopefully you get to come back soon for the holidays!
